Stoned drivers perform better than drunk drivers – according to a new study
A new marijuana study from CNN is out demonstrating the effects of marijuana while driving. The rather comical video shows 3 individuals who are stoned and driving, while under the influence of marijuana. The video portrays a young woman, Addy, who was a trooper throughout the entire study – proving just how much she does smoke! The first 2 smoking sessions Addy handled quite impressively with no big issues. By the third smoke she was driving a bit faster and was a bit excited behind the wheel.
The video is quite humorous and I laughed several times throughout. To me personally, this just goes to show that a regular marijuana smoker can handle moderate and sometimes high levels of THC while driving safely. I do not recommend driving while high or under the influence of any substance. However, with that said, I do believe stoned drivers would perform better than drunk drivers on all standard driving tests.
