Does this really surprise anyone? It doesn’t us but this sure is making headlines.
Apparently in 1969 84% of American’s opposed legalizing marijuana. So in the last 44 years (which is quite a long time) American’s views on marijuana have shifted. Is this a sign of future legalization nationwide? We are doubting that will happen this year but we are hopeful that, like gay marriage, more and more Americans will support legalization of marijuana which will in turn push our government to find ways to legalize it.
I mean, let’s be honest, Mr. Obama himself likes the reefer. Case in point – our earlier tweet from today, @420cali:
