From Miley Cyrus to Justin Bieber to Jennifer Lawrence…celebrities are not really hiding their pot-smoking from cameras, and they shouldn’t have to.

But, it’s bringing up a few topics from the media on marijuana consumption and “role-models.”

If a celebrity smokes marijuana are they instantly seen as a negative role model?

Who constitutes whether smoking marijuana is considered “setting a bad example for our youth.” Unfortunately for many young celebrities, the choice of becoming a “role-model” was not one made by the celebrities themselves…So why are we putting these unrealistic expectations on these young actors and entertainers?

The most recent celeb pot story from this week involves Miley Cyrus smoking a joint on her Miami hotel balcony. This isn’t the first time Miley Cyrus has been seen smoking weed – it’s obvious she doesn’t really care.
